This exercise guide will cover topics on strength training, mobility and cardiovascular fitness. As a pharmacist and certified personal trainer, I’m proud to serve my local community and share my experience. Please enjoy - my thoughts on what I’ve learned.

“Mental” Benefits

Challenges
It is not easy.
You will struggle.
Requires time and commitment.
Strength and Resistance Training
Resistance training helps build muscle strength and endurance. It is an essential part of a balanced exercise program and can include weight lifting, bodyweight exercises and plyometrics.
Mobility and Flexibility
As we age, mobility is essential to promote recovery and help us tend to the parts of our body we neglect. Make it a routine. Stretching and mobility can help prevent injury. Lastly, it gives you an opportunity to focus on your breath.
Aerobic Efficiency
Zone 2 and Zone 5. Help build your VO2 max and do what’s best for your heart. For Zone 2, do something that gets you moving, something you enjoy. Bike. Walk. Dance. Move. Zone 5 will require the most out of you, but it gives back tenfold in benefits.
